A company based in India, is the developer of computer or mobile security software products by the name of Net Protector, Total Security, Internet Security, NPAV End Point Security, NPAV Corp Web Control, NPAV Home Web Control, Antivirus and Mobile Security. ("NPAV Security").

We take the privacy of our customers seriously and are committed to safeguarding your privacy while you use our services. This policy describes the types of information we collect when you use BSLPL Services and Software, how we may use that information and with whom we may share it. Our privacy policy also describes the measures we take to protect the information you share with us. Why do you collect my data?

We collect information to provide better services to all of our users. Our goal is to create a healthy and transparent relation with our customers.

What personal information we collect?

In order to provide our services described in the Software License and Service Agreement, we may collect the following “Personal User Information”: Contact Information (including name, address, email address, telephone) Transaction Information (in case of online purchase, including your purchase history and data relating to use of Services and Software provided by BSLPL).

We collect the following information in two ways:

Information you give us : You may give us information in variety of ways, including when you request technical support or customer service, register a product, or give us reviews or feedback. When you contact us we will ask you to submit certain Personal Information, like your name, email address and other contact details.

Information we get from your use of our Services and Software.

We may collect information about the Services and Software that you use like the information about your device, details about your usage patterns, limited details about your Internet usage stored temporarily to provide our Services and Software, computer files and risks such as malware, and information that may be included in virus or malware sample that we collect from your computer for review.

Device Information.

We may collect device-specific information, including CPU name, LAN card numbers, HDD details, MBID and other OS details. For Android applications, we require permissions like precise location(GPS), view network connections, view WiFi connections, modify or delete USB storage and other hardware access permissions.

Log Information.

When you use our Services and Software, we may automatically collect and store certain information on our servers related to your use of our websites or Services and Software to help us improve the quality of our products and service.

Information collected relating to installed programs scanned by Software features.

The information uploaded onto our servers for virus scanning and instant setup function include: file paths and MD5 checksums of the executable files, installed software names, packages names, software signature certificates etc.

Unique Product Key.

When you use certain services, they might have a unique product key number. This key number and certain information about your installation may be sent to us when you install or uninstall Software or when Software periodically contacts our servers, such as in a check for automatic updates.

Local Storage.

We may collect and store information locally on your device using mechanisms such as browser web storage and applications data caches. Such information includes: user settings, file whitelist and blacklist used to accelerate file scanning. In order to activate the computer check up for NPAV Connect for Android/iOS to remove malware, optimize system performance and clean up system junks, NPAV Security will upload the following information to BSLPL Security center: startup items, system junks and malware detection.

Use of Personal User Information

BSLPL uses the Personal User Information it collects in ways that serve your security and privacy needs, including the following:

  • Provide threat prediction and protection products and services.
  • Provide security advisories, information and product updates.
  • Provide recommendations on software/programs.
  • Conduct research (for example, market and consumer research, security research and analysis, and trend analysis).
  • Communicate about, and administer participation in, special events, programs, surveys, contests, sweepstakes, and other offers and promotions.
  • Customize, measure, and improve our websites properties.
  • Analyze and develop new products, services and websites.

When you contact with BSLPL with any feedback or for customer service or technical support by email or in any other manner, we may keep a record of your correspondence with us to help solve any issues you might be facing. If you decide to sign up to receive updates or information about Software or Services, or to receive any or our marketing materials, we may use your email address to send you updates, newsletters or marketing materials,

We have taken appropriate measures to protect your information from misuse, unauthorized or unlawful access or disclosure, loss, alteration, damage or destruction. We always use encryption technology to safeguard your data. For example,for online purchase, credit card information is transmitted using secure socket layer (“SSL”) encryption. The information we collect from you may be stored on servers in the United States and anywhere NPAV or our vendors operate.

We do not share Personal User Information with companies, organizations and individuals outside of BSLPL unless one of the following circumstances apply:

Because of this, after you delete information from our Services and Software or request deletion of our information, we may not immediately delete residual copies from our active servers and may not remove information from our backup systems.
